Exclusive: अमेरिकाको न्यू जर्सी राज्यको जर्सी सिटी सहरमा हड्सन स्पिक्स र नेपाली संस्थाहरूको सहआयोजनामा भोली आईतवार जुन ३० तारिख निःशुल्क मानसिक स्वास्थ्य शिविर हुने भएकोछ। यो महत्वपूर्ण शिविरमा भाग लिएर नेपाली अमेरिकन समाजमा बिकराल बन्दै गएको यो अदृश्य मनोरोगको पहिचान र निदानबारे सिकेर आफू, आफ्नो परिवार र सिंगो समाजलाई मानसिकरूपमा स्वस्थ राख्न सक्षम बनौं। हार्वार्ड विश्वविद्यालयको एक रिपोर्ट (२०२३) मा प्रस्तुत नेसनल इन्स्टिट्यूट अफ मेन्टल हेल्थको तथ्यांक अनुसार अमेरिकी कूल जनसंख्याको हरेक पाँच जना मध्ये एक जनामा मानसिक रोग हुने गरेको बताईएकोछ। अर्थात, ५८ मिलियन (पाँच करोड असी लाख) जनता मानसिक रोगबाट पीडित र प्रभावित छन्। अमेरिकी सरकारी दातृसंस्था यएसएडका अनुसार विश्वका ८० प्रतिसत मानसिक रोगबाट पीडितहरूलाई मानसिक रोगको उपचार अत्यन्त न्यून र छँदैछैन। संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघको विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठनको सन् २०१९ को तथ्यांक अनुसार विश्वमा ९७० मिलियन (९७ करोड) जनता मानसिक रोगबाट पीडित छन्।
